Your Local Community

The Lexington Emmaus Community (LEC) is located in Lexington, Kentucky and has members throughout Kentucky. The Community was founded in 1985 and held its first retreat weekends in August of 1985. More information about our retreats can be found below. Our community also comes together monthly for a "Gathering" generally held the first Friday of each month in Lexington area churches. Members of the community are also encouraged to belong to "Reunion Groups", which are small groups that meet on a weekly basis to encourage each other in our daily walks with our Lord. Emmaus Communities worldwide are a connected through Upper Room Ministries. The LEC has assisted in the establishment of new communities in Southern Ohio, Eastern Kentucky, Ghana, Africa, and Belize, Central America.
